About Us

Page75 makes films that investigate and humanise the polarising issues of our times. We are independent. Remaining independent is at the core of everything we do. We are powered by people who are standing up for human rights.

LIZ SMITH

Documentary Director & Producer

Liz is an award winning British documentary filmmaker. Her work is centred around human rights issues. The films she is making at Page75 Productions are the outcome of years of study on the issues driving the rise of populism and the erosion of our democratic rights. However, researching the issues can only go so far. Her approach of spending time with affected communities on the frontline delivers a much deeper understanding of the forces driving these trends.

She is the director of the feature documentary I Am Gen Z, which premiered at CPH:DOX in 2021 and won Best Feature Film at the Lower East Side Film Festival. Her most recent feature documentaries include The Conspiracists and The Line We Crossed

The Conspiracists explores the profound and unsettling impact of conspiracy theories on individuals and society and won the award for Best Documentary Feature at The Miami Women Festival 2025

The Line We Crossed exposes the alarming erosion of the right to protest in the UK and has had a very successful theatrical release in the UK. It won the award for Best Feature Film at the Environmental Film & Screenplay Festival.

She is currently working on her next feature documentary, The Humanitarians, which examines the growing threat to the human right to asylum and the toxic anti-immigrant movement. In addition to her documentary works she writes about human rights issues on her Substack

CHANTELLE DE CARVALHO

Producer

Chantelle has a strong track record for producing narrative features and documentaries, taking them from concept through to distribution. These include “The Hatching”, a comedy/ beast horror distributed worldwide (Icon, Kaleidoscope, Lionsgate US); “The Secret Philosophy”, an art house drama; the supernatural thriller “The Devil’s Curse” (Lionsgate US) and “Copposites”, a body-swap comedy. Chantelle has worked closely with Liz Smith on numerous film projects over the past 20 years. The documentary “I Am Gen Z” was their first non-fiction feature length collaboration.

Brian Selman

Executive producer

Brian has had a long and successful business career, largely within technical industries. He has operated at CEO level and as a non-executive director of a number of enterprises, as well being involved in several start-ups. Qualified to master’s degree level, he also has the Institute of Directors diploma and is a qualified executive coach. He has lived and worked in four countries and from this wide exposure he has developed an international viewpoint and has a strong interest in the development of societies and organisations.

KIM HALLIDAY

Music & sound

Kim is an award winning media composer and musician who was rescued from a life in Prog Rock by seeing Dr Feelgood in early 1975 – thankfully his earliest work in Punk bands has been lost.

Since those earliest days, he’s resolutely avoided being pigeon-holed, and his film scores have encompassed horror, comedy, drama, musicals and child birth, while his albums have been described as “Sonic Youth meets Bernard Herrmann” and “Face-Bashing All-Out Guitar Assault”.  You can find his music at kimhalliday.com and his writing on Substack at Tunes Loops Noise.

Kim has worked with Liz on several projects, and his scores include music and sound design (music design, maybe) for I Am Gen Z, The Conspiracists and The Line We Crossed,  He’s currently planning for the music for The Humanitarians – this will probably involve the purchase of another guitar…

NOELLE Cook

Associate Producer

Noelle Cook is an ethnographer and researcher examining how identity, belief, and belonging shape women’s participation in conspiratorial and right-wing movements. She is the author of The Conspiracists: Women, Extremism, and the Lure of Belonging and Associate Producer of The Conspiracists, a documentary by Page75 Productions.

Serena Schellenberg

Associate Producer

Serena spent 30 years producing TV ads at agencies including JWT and Leo Burnett. In 2019 she recognised how her industry was effecting our most important client – earth, while the clients she was working for were the biggest polluters. Since then she has produced animated explainers on Nature Loss voiced by Naomie Harris and Our Climate Crisis – voiced by Keira Knightly. The Gigantic Change – an animated story for young people, looks back from 2050 to 2020 to see if the human race took action on climate and nature loss, which was voiced by Whoopi Goldberg. She also initiates filming her own short promo films about the causes she supports like, Care4Calais, Stop HS2 and PickUps4Peace. Some of her footage from an Insulate Britain action on the M25 features in The Line We Crossed. She has been very involved in Extinction Rebellion since October 2019 and has filmed and live streamed some dramatic moments, like Paralympian James Brown climbing onto of a plane at London City Airport. She recently produced a series of short pieces on women in activism entitled Not Guilty directed by Tim Varlow.
