The Films

We are losing our right to protest. We are losing our right to asylum. Misogyny and homophobia are on the rise. Independent press freedom is being compromised.  Ordinary people are putting their lives and livelihoods on the line to fight for our human rights. Our films follow the stories of these people.

The Line We Crossed

A nonviolent civil resistance group is demanding the UK government stop licensing new oil, gas and coal projects in the face of the climate emergency. The more they resist, the more the government clamps down on their right to protest and subjects them to arrests and harsh prison sentences. This film exposes the chilling effect of draconian laws being passed that affect the democratic rights of all British citizens. Are we at a tipping point of no return for our democratic rights as well as for the climate crisis?

The Conspiracists

After a January 6th insurrectionist is sentenced to two and a half years in prison for her part in the storming of The Capitol, a researcher and a filmmaker embark on a road trip with her from DC to Idaho. En route they visit her fellow insurrectionists and hear about their respective journeys of “awakening”. The insurrectionist takes the researcher and filmmaker on an intense journey into her labyrinth of conspiracy, but is disappointed when, by the end of the trip, she has not succeeded in her mission to elevate them out of their 3D world and help them to see the truth.

I am Gen Z

Through expert interviews and the web lens of Generation Z, the documentary explores how the digital revolution is impacting our society, our brains and mental health, how the forces driving it are working against humanity and have put us on a dangerous trajectory that has huge ramifications for this first generation growing up with mobile digital technology.

A film about the extraordinary power of the human spirit. What is it like to seeking asylum in a world where immigration has been weaponised.
