A non-violent civil resistance group is demanding the UK government stop licensing new oil, gas and coal projects in the face of the climate emergency. The more they resist, the more the government clamps down on their right to protest and subjects them to arrests and harsh prison sentences. This film exposes the chilling effect of draconian laws being passed that affect the democratic rights of all British citizens. A group of humanitarians crawl through the forests on the Polish Belarus border to give aid to migrants who are in fear for their lives as they hide from the border guards. They will be pushed back and denied the right to asylum if caught. In the UK, the politics of fear are being used to polarise communities over immigration. The flames are fanned further when the government threatens to leave the European Convention on Human Rights and introduces a law denying the right to asylum for anyone reaching the UK through illegal routes. A counter-protest movement is fighting back in an attempt to deliver justice for refugees.

After a January 6th insurrectionist is sentenced to two and a half years in prison for her part in the storming of The Capitol, a researcher and a filmmaker embark on a road trip with her from DC to Idaho. En route they visit her fellow insurrectionists and hear about their respective journeys of “awakening”. The insurrectionist takes the researcher and filmmaker on an intense journey into her labyrinth of conspiracy, but is disappointed when, by the end of the trip, she has not succeeded in her mission to elevate them out of their 3D world and help them to see the truth.
