Many believe we are heading towards complete societal collapse.
People are telling us that they have stopped looking at the news because it’s too depressing and they feel powerless to change things. Young people are telling us they want to have children but they don’t want to bring children into this world. Young people are asking their parents if the world today is worse than when they were young.
Our democratic rights truly are under threat, here at home in the UK, NOW. We are losing our right to protest. We are losing our right to asylum. Women are losing their rights to own their own bodies. Homophobia is on the rise. Independent press freedom is being compromised.
In 2024 40 countries, 41% of the world’s population will be voting in democratic elections. We can collectively choose to vote the same people into power or we can collectively turn the tide.
As the culture wars heat up and the effects of climate change accelerate, individual people are putting their lives and livelihoods on the line to fight for their beliefs.
Our films aim to hold power to account by exposing the stories behind the headlines and help audiences to better understand our world.
